Introduction to the Parish Plan:
The initiative for the Parish Plan comes from central government that has decided that all parishes, big and small, are to have a plan that looks forward over the next 10 to 15 years. All members of the parish have been consulted with the purpose of eliciting their views. Now that the questionnaires have been returned, members of the Steering Group are now analysing the results...and may even do some door step consultancy to smooth any rough edges.
Once the analysis is over, the Steering Group will then produce a printed 'Brookenby Parish Plan' that will lay down the focus that the Parish Council will have for the next 10 to 15 years. It is hoped that all villagers will be issued with the printed version, as will the Lincolnshire Community Centre, West Lindsey District Council and our own Ward Councillor.
Please remember, this is our village and the Steering Group still needs your input...even if you have just moved here. If you are not willing to inject you own views, you cannot complain that the village is going along a road of which you disapprove.
