From the Chairman:
The final draft is complete and has been submitted to CommunityLincs for its final acceptance. We are currently tendering for a printer before the Plan, with its agreed 'Action Plan', may be released. CommunityLincs has now approved the Brookenby Parish Plan and Action Plan, with some very heartening comments:
"I
like the layout of the plan and the design, like the action plan
particularly with the priorities and timescales and also the fact that
you have identified a community lead with the help of partner organisations.
It's
been a long time coming but I think Brookenby have (sic) done a good
job."
We will then put our heads together with Brookenby Forward to organise a full-scale Brookenby Event to formally publish the Plan and hand over its implementation responsibilities to Brookenby Foward. As membersof the Steering Group, we all appreciate that it has taken much longer than the original members had hoped way back in Feb 07. However, with many members moving out of the area and having to leave the Steering Group, it has been left to just the three of us to produce the final document.
